"Laik-a" Family Member

She was sleeping, that explains her worried face.
Yes, I have a pet, a female dog. She’s Laika, it may not be the most original name, but she is so attached to it that no one could say she doesn’t own it. We found her about five years ago in the street. Before we adopted her, same day in the morning, I remember I saw her under the sun. She was wearing a dog-sweater: she looks so cute. That same day at night I saw her again and I let her went into my house. We posted flyers with her information all along the block, but nobody claimed her. My theory, judging from the fact she was using a sweater, is that her former family abandoned her.
When she just arrived she got a little bit aggressive with some people, with veterinarians for example, and we were nervous about her growing up process, about her learning capacities. Fortunately she became the most adorable dog I’ve ever seen. She is quite affectionate and intelligent at the same time. She is about to turn six years old but looks like a young lady.
It is interesting how dogs can form part of a family, it is a fast process, and before you get notice your feelings tells you how much important has became. My relationship with her is not an exception.

  1. So glad that you adopted her (: considering her aggressive attitude at the beginning I would tell that she suffered violent threats in the street ):
